WALL OF SOUND

Interactive Design, Art Installation, Engineering, Fabrication, Installation

This modular wall system reflects the activity of visitors with light and texture. With every sound produced by its audience, the WALL OF SOUND responds by opening its surface, allowing light to spill out across the textural surface. The system is expandable to any wall size and its sensitivity is adjustable to react to the volume level within its environment.

VAPUR

Retail Design, Exhibit Design, Graphic Design, POP Displays, Fabrication

This booth system of free standing wall displays and pedestals was designed for continuous travel in a variety of configurations. The modular panel can be inserted with combinations of maple merchandise displays and graphic panels with built-in LED lighting. Water-droplet-shaped pedestals perform multiple functions such as light up display surfaces, locking storage and product giveaway bins. In addition to their traveling exhibit booth, NON also built out Vapur showrooms in Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas and Seattle.

TMNT LAIR

Exhibit Design, Retail Design, Experiential Marketing

The convention hall disappears as one passes through the broken sewer tube into the stylized dank sewer lair from Nick’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brand. The sound of water dripping echoes through the space while sirens and footsteps reverberate from the street level. Layers of sewer grating creates the street level and Manhattan looms overhead mapped onto giant prints. A multitude of interactive areas such as sewer tubes, periscopes, pinball machines and surveilance monitors reveal trailers and sneak-peak footage of the new TMNT. Visitors exit through a sewer tube with display portals flowing into the Nick Shop.

THQ E3 EXHIBIT

Exhibit Design, Graphic Design, Fabrication, Project Management, On-site Supervision

7,500 square foot exhibit space for THQ

Private demonstrations are held in theaters built of glowing translucent walls on the inside and a lit pixel motif wrapping the outer surface. Low, angled kiosks host many of the games, while the “Darksiders” is housed in capsules that one can sit inside of and play. The scrim signage doubles as an enclosure, accommodating a private meeting room, staff rest area and VIP lounge.

RIOT

Stage Design, Event Design, Fabrication

For the live broadcast tournament finals of Riot’s League of Legends, NON designed the stage set, which was watched by an audience of 1000 live and millions online. Seven projection screens and video mapped kiosks showed all aspects of game play while signage towers, merchandise areas and a LAN gaming area surrounded the audience.

NON REFLECTION VASE

PURCHASE FROM THE NON ONLINE SHOP

This vase has a different proportion than most others. The shallow basin creates a reflective surface that mirrors the plant that it displays. Three necks hold a simple arrangement emerging from the water similar to a lily from a pond.

PACKIT

Exhibit Design, Graphic Design, Fabrication

For PACKiT’s new line of freezable personal coolers, they wanted to create a colorful kitchen atmosphere to demo and display the product. Like a cutaway set, it would combine both functional and faux fixtures, branded lifestyle imagery and illustrated iconic kitchen elements. With minimal size, weight and assembly, it housed lit cabinets to showcase products, a central demo island, refrigerator and chest freezer hidden within the base cabinets.

NICKELODEON

Exhibit Design, Fabrication, Project Management, On-site Supervision

This 50′ X 20′ Licensing Expo exhibit for Nickelodeon transformed elements from the brand into a three dimensional space filled with texture and tactile experiences. Visitors are greeted by a reception desk filled with ping-pong balls while meetings are held at tables in the shapes of a scrambled “n-i-c-k-e-l-o-d-e-o-n”. A sixteen-foot wide photo-op wall made of hundreds of projecting tubes creates the backdrop of the booth and a media display with TV and iPads show the upcoming Nick shows.

MITOSIS LIGHTS

Interactive Design, Lighting Design, Engineering, Fabrication, Installation

Mitosis is a modular lighting system that is always changing and enables users to not only control the amount of light being emitted, but the patterns, shapes and impressions that the lights create. Glowing colored orbs illuminate when touched once and return to their off states when touched again. Mitosis takes lighting out of the object world and into the realm of the spatial environment.
